CareCredit RIPOFF

Hello,  I would like to inform you that your credit card sucks.  I have paid you all off and I am done with your company.  I will not pay a *** service charge.  I paid the remaining balance and that is ALL I am giving you.  Your company is nothing but a headache and you can not even pay your bill by talking to a customer service representative without them charging you anywhere from 10-15 dollars just to talk to a representative.  When I got approved for the card, I had no idea that they were going to charge me to talk to someone.  When it clearly states that you can pay your bill online for free.  If that is the case then why do you charge me a fee for a transaction fee to pay the bill.  I have paid all of my bills on time and do not need to pay service fees for being late when I wasn't.  The last payment I paid on the 10th of june on my phone and apparently you didn't get that and had the NERVE to call the house on Saturday morning early when you were NEVER supposed to call the house.  I don't know how you even got the number.  I would like to cancel this card, and not have anything to do with you ever again.  You all are nothing but a headache and I WILL call the better business bureau on the way i was treated and the way that you all do business.  REALLY you say one thing and do something else.  I have never had a credit card charge me just to talk to someone to pay my bill.  You have false advertising and I will tell all my friends to not get a credit card from you. Also I DO NOT think it is right to keep adding a bunch of charges just to pay bill on time.

No Help - Deaf

Hello, My bad experience started when I visited a dental office in December 2012. I was told by an associate from the dental office my payment will become active once my root canal work procedure is started. The only work was done was fill in. I was schedule to come in in a month's time for my root canal. I started getting calls for payment even before any work of root canal had started. I have been calling customer service at care credit since early this year few times already. Last call done few weeks ago and was told my dispute claim has been put through which will take about couple of months to be resolve not the first time. I received a letter last week advising me to make payment including INTEREST until this matter of dispute is resolved an adjustment will be made to my account. I do not have account and I will not accept this letter of their "investigating this dispute and to make payment with interest". Can you imagine I use to get calls from different area codes morning, day and night as late as 10 pm. I call customer service to stop the harassment which they did. I am starting to get this calls again. So somebody please will look into this and resolve the situation. Thank you Veena Bhagwandas

They just got sued and now you can dispute claims. The dental practice can not charge out services before work is done.

I run a dental practice and we have to sign new forms about not charging before work starts and how customer has first right or refusal. If they charge you you can still reverse charges :x

Bill put into my name without authorization

my father in law used guerrino dentistry in hartsdale n.y. to pull nine teeth a girl at desk told him she will put everything in his name instead added my name and charged him his total credit on card of $7,200 this is for pulling nine teeth mind u. my father in law went to office and they adjusted bill it was a little over $1,300 which he paid for i have been trying to contact that evil liar stephanie at her office she has been avoiding my phone calls for two months.I have spoke to numerous people at care credit trying to explain my situation to no avail is there someone out there that can help us.

Totally Happy Cardholder

We've had Care Credit for about four years and we are totally satisfied. I would say we've probably charged a total of $16,000 in dental work during that time. My wife had some implants done by a first-rate dentist and I had about $7000 in a permanent from the same fellow. In addition she had several crowns. We paid them all off on time and were never charged a nickel of interest. If anyone is pissed off at this organization, I suspect that person is not a terribly savvy consumer. Your instructions say I must enter at least 100 words, which is why I wrote this last sentence.

I agree. This card is amazing!

I've never had any problems and I read all the fine print, pay by due date, and watch when my promotional pay periods end. I've had this card for several years.

Have charged thousands of dollars and have NEVER paid any interest. People just need to be active, responsible card holders!

I have never had any trouble with my care credit. I watch my statement like a hawk, never pay late and keep an eye on all promotional purchases.

If you want a good experience with carecredit, you have to actively participate in your account. Nobody will do it for you

I charged 300$ started charge interest right from first bill even though was told 90 same as cash no interest. 1st bill 25 next 35 next 45 no new charges added why would this be????

Avoid GE Carecredit card

Several years ago I applied and received a GE carecredit card for dental procedures. I used the card a couple times. I paid my bills every month. Sometime the minimum and often more. I moved out of country and decided I did not want an open line of credit so called the company to ensure that I didnt owe money and to close the account. I closed the account and was told I was all settled up. I just ran my credit score and come to find out that they claim to have an outstanding debt on my card. When talking to the company they said they cant find the details but it was probably interest that had accrued and that this was my problem. When closing an account they said they have no way of knowing this and I needed to follow up to see if I owed more money. The man I spoke to when I closed the account didnt say anything about this. He just said I owed nothing and all was well. Now I have a bad mark on my credit. Be aware with GE caecredit!!! dont use. They have all the power. Even when you think you are doing everything right.

Care Credit is a myth

I got this card to help me finance my medical situation. I did not know they were going to penalize me with paying my whole bill at the end of the year with a $450 bill which will be charged interest on top of that.I will be losing that amount while being charged interest on top of that and the existing bill %26.99 which is a rip off.These companies want you to think they are helping you but they are really just another greedy corporate company.Beware. On top of that when I called I got hung up on. Rudeness is their customer service. There was no one there to actually help me with my bill. Finding other sources of credit.

That's how it works. You have a promotional period with 0 interest and if you don't pay it off by then you get a crazy interest charge.

That's why you should pay it before the promo ends... Read what you're signing up for and keep track of your payments and you won't pay a penny more than you should.

Payment Due Date Change

I called care Credit in Feb to change my payment due date from the 3rd to the 28th of each month and at the same time made a payment on Feb 1st. They said I was late for Feb payment which is now due on the 28th. . . . I told them I made Feb payment on the 1st. they said because I changed my due date from the 3rd to the 28th another payment was due on feb 28th. isnt that crazy. I changed my payment due date on my other credit cards with no problem. GE Capital began harrassing me with phone calls and has me late paying from that point. I finally gave up and made two payments and asked that they stop harrassing me, and if they continued I would report them to the FTC. I have not been harrassed since.

I to lost money reference this card total of $700. When I originally set it up I specifically told them that the payment would have to be on the 1st of the month due to me being a retired soldier that is the time for which we get paid. It was okay for a spell then out of no where, my payment was also changed to the 28th with no notification so I continue to make my payment on the first and they were steady charging me a $35 late fee every month. When I called they told me my payment was received late every month. I stated that is hard to believe because my bank sends it out on the 25th to ensure it arrived on or before the 1st.

I noticed the payment was not being process until the 5th, and when I ask they stated once again my bank sent the payments late, to take it up with them. When i mentioned the fact that they had been charging me a late fee for 12 months straight she state don't you ever check you bill, you were the one who sign up for paperless statements, oh this really pissed me off with no end. I will be paying them off today and I hope that no one ever obtains their service again, I will not that is for sure.........

My best advice before you sign up for this card read all the reviews, I wish I had.

Care credit

Had just received this account in the past 30 days. Never received a statement and left out of the country on vacation. When we returned we found out, not by them but our loan officer that they reported us late by 31 days, now we cant get our mortage approved because that pulled over a 100 points from credit.... Have called them to repair but they refuse.... we sold our house two days before and now are facing no home because of them... We were told they could remove it but wont.... Pissed off is an understatement. Do not get care credit. I should have had the tooth pulled instead of the root canal. At least that be better than having no home.....

Or were you hoping that maybe THEY forgot about it?

Why would you not make payments on a debt and then complain when they reported you for not making payments?

I don't blame them for not wanting to remove the report. As far as I can tell from your blurry explanation, it's a completely accurate report, and other creditors should know about it.

If you're leaving the country and you haven't received a statement try being proactive and calling and making an early payment. You don't get a pass on your responsibilities just because you're going on vacation.

Also, who sell their own house without being approved to purchase another house.

I'm not sure that care credit is at fault for anything you've mentioned. You don't have any income, so how can you expect them to loan you money?

They'd want to know that you can pay it back before they give it to you.

I hope you were able to take advantage of that free dental services charity. It sucks to have bad teeth and no way to fix them.

Try to pay the bill

I went on line to pay my bill, put in all the data, card number, address etc. It told me my information wasn't correct. So I made a phone call - got an automated wizard who makes Hal in 2001 look tame. After 15 minutes (I am not kidding) I could finally pay my bill. Once paid, I tried the response Representative, she asked what I need assistance with, told her on line access. She then went through the key strokes to get on line - I did all that and it didn't work - so I resorted to yelling (at the computer)REPRESENTATIVE - she finally after 3 sessions - said she would put me through - I then got a recording saying the offices were closed. These are the same people who were charging me the fee for the type of coverage to pay off my bill if I die (which I never agreed to). They must be used to that complaint, (it adds to your bill each month and you therefore will NEVER be out of debt) because without flinching - they agreed to refund 3 months of the $185 charge. Now - this is the best part - even though I had paid - I wrote checks and paid for something I didn't request - the reallocation of my payment for those charges didn't count as a payment - so they said I was late. This is a HUGE rip off - these people are nuts!

Care Credit by GE Capital Retail Bank

Tooth broke and 3 years later still paying for the tooth because of the interest. Before you ever use Care Credit by GE Capital Retail Bank let your teeth fall out of your mouth. They will suck you dry for interest and will not work with you. They are the most unreasonable people I have ever dealt with. I called and asked to make a settlement and they said https://www.gogecapital.com/ does not help people out with the interest they take your money and won't work with you. Stay away from https://www.gogecapital.com/ http://www.carecredit.com/ they are the worst company. How I wish I never got involved with them!!

My experiences (six to date) have worked out wonderfully. I make note of when the promotional period ends and I make sure the bill is paid about one week before the date due.

That way I can make certain that my cash was applied to the promotional period of my choice. I usually have two-three going at the same time due to medical, eye, dental and pets.

GE has been a life saver for me! Twelve months, same as cash, for over $5,000.

Cost me ZERO in finance charges. Works for me!

GE Capital Retail Money Bank has changed its name Three (3) times first name GE Capital, second name GE Capital Money Bank and the third change GE Capital Retail Money Bank. As you can see they always have the word "MONEY" in their name and they should really have "MONEY" in their name because that is all that matters to them!

You don't I don't and millions of people out there don't. They use all the tricks in the book plus make up their own! If you want to see just how BAD they are go and look at the documents that I have uploaded and you will see they have gotten totally out of control. The agencies state and federal can't even keep up with their "Crooked Tactics".

In fact they are so brazen they actually called Bank of America a lier even when showed the document of where they WIPED out my account without my permission! They lied to the District Attorney's Office in Santa Clara, CA! This is the way they make their BILLIONS! They have a lot of pull with someone high up to get away with what they are doing and have been doing for years to the consumers.

Someone's pockets are getting lined by this corrupt bank who makes money anyway they can and they don't care how they do it or who they squash on the way to continuing to make their "BILLIONS"! Go to "Crook-A-Titus" and "*** Titus" Disease and you will see ACTUAL documents with their BOLD FACE LIES! Heck "The Consumer Financial Protection Agency” which I refer to as “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau” they actually sent one of my complaints on this crooked bank to another company! Which was mentioned NO WHERE IN MY COMPLAINT!

This Screwed up Agency has been in business since 2011 and is DOING NOTHING to stop THE CORRUPTION they allow this bank to get away with! They see nothing wrong with this type of business practice. You can see this in the actual documents I have uploaded to this website. This agency “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau” was founded in 2011 for “Reform on Wallstreet” well I guess the new reform on wallstreet was created so that banks like GE Capital Retail Money Bank that handles credit cards for “Wallmart”, JC Penny, Target, etc.

just go online and see just how many merchants let this bank *** and then go and look at how much they BRAG about making its “BILLIONS” at the consumers expense. Yes, Frank and Dodd which this agency was created for are real reform all right real reform! What a joke! Believe it or not your screwed along with all the rest of the consumers who get sucked into this EVIL bank and the EVIL government agencies that give them “CART BLAC” to make up their own rules, regulations, late fees, charging illegal amounts etc.!

They even change their late fee amounts from $25.00 and $35.00 to $15.95! They tell you to pay more then you owe and when you do they don't apply the whole amount, unbelievable really? So, we have to get it out there to let people know NOT to do business with businesses that associate with this “EVIL CORRUPT *** BANK”! This agency which has been in business since 2011 doesn't care how they do business!

This agency was created to help the consumer. Well, when you go and research who created it you will find that this agency is called “The Wall Street Reform Act” created by Frank and Dodd! Now do I need to tell you more! In fact ALL those documents that have been uploaded are A-OK with all the agencies The Office of the Comp Controller, The Department of Financial Institutions, The Federal Trade Commission, The Department of Justice etc., these agencies have turned over my complaints to these idiots at The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which by the way police themselves, now need I say more?

They are even more A-OK with “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau”. Money talks if you don't have it your screwed! That is what “Corporate America” continues to achieve anyway they can and anyone they can bribe to continue to get away with it and believe me they do! The POWER is with the people the consumer.

If we can not use credit cards that this “EVIL BANK” is associated with then maybe we can win!

Hit them where it hurts and that is their “BILLIONS” or “MONEY” which they have kept in all their name changes. Which I'm positive that they have made illegally.

Bad bad customer service....

On the 25th of the month, my dentist charged a dental procedure that brought it up to my credit limit. I have set it up on an automatic payment so I didn't think much about it. However, on the 25th, they also charge me some interest from a previous balance which I thought I had paid off entirely - no bid deal either. However, that interest charge which was less than $60 showed up as a derogatory item on my credit report on that same day. Even though I brought the balance down by $400 the moment I learned about it, the customer service rep and customer service manager had no sympathy at all even though I have been paying them for more than 3 years at 26% which i had completely forgotten about high their interest really is!!! I only asked why nobody notified me for this instance especially when they have all of my phone numbers and e-mails on file supposedly to notify me when something is wrong! On the other hand, I always keep receiving marketing materials from them. I will pay them off as soon as possible and never use them again because they treat you like a nobody! That wasn't customer service and even though they charge you an insane interest rate their customer service department is by far the worst I have encountered in my life. My advice to all of you is that you should not use them unless it is an absolute necessity and make sure you pay them off within the promotional period not a day later! They use us so make sure you use them, too!

SURGERY LOAN! STAY AWAY FROM CREDIT CARE

I applied with CARE CREDIT and i was not satisfied with their service and rates. I applied with FUNDMYDOCTOR.com after reading a lot of great reviews on FUNDMYDOCTOR.com which is another finance company and their service and rates are sooo much better, they paid my doctor the next day! Care credit does not even explain what you have been aproved for. FUNDMYDOCTOR explains the program you have been approved for over the phone, and they email documents so you could visualy see what you have been approved for. Customer service was great and my doctor enjoyed working with them!!!!

I have talked to at least customer service reps. All dumb foreigners. I was getting calls on Sunday mornings at 7:30am. And between 4-6 calls a day. I know my rights and wrote a cease and desist letter to stop all phone calls. They are still calling. When I signed up for this card I was told I could make a small payment of $25/mo with no interest. The bill was wrong right off the bat. I told them if they don't correct the bill I will ignore all calls and throw the bill in the trash. Which is what I have been doing. I'd like to take legal action against them because I know they are breaking the law. Can anyone tell me who I need to contact to file a claim?

Care Credit are liars

So my boyfriend has care credit and I use it a lot for medical reasons and I am fixing to have ACL reconstruction surgery and I made the last payment last week. Well it didn't post within a couple of days so my boyfriend called to see what was going on and they said it takes 3 to 5 business days to post and here it is day 6 and so my boyfriend called them again today and all they could tell him was oh well give it a couple of more days. I just hate that they are lying to us about it if you don't know then connect me with someone who does

That happened to me as well. I made a $1200 payment but is wasn't showing up on my account.

I was told payments over $500 take longer to post. I waited a few more days and called back since it still hadn't posted. I was told the same thing but this time i said i wanted to speak with a supervisor.

The supervisor pushed her magic button and the payment posted within 30 seconds!!! When all else fails...demand to speak to a supervisor!!
