I have a credit limit of 3,000. I used a good portion for my dental work.
Have paid it down and had an available credit of $424.00.
Recently I had minor surgery for which I needed to pay a co-pay of 35.00, I used my CareCredit card to dermatologist,no problem or so I thought. When I received my CareCredit statement, I noticed Care Credit did not deduct the 35.00 from my available credit, but added it to my statement. Now my monthly payment went from $140.00 to 165.00. I contacted Care Credit and was informed my payment would go back to $140.00 after I pay the 165.00.
Makes no sense, that being the case I could have payed it out of my checking account.
I preferred to use my credit card as I am on a fixed income and using my card would have helped, My budget allows me to make a payment of 140.00 per month. I contacted Care Credit and asked why the 35.00 was not deducted from my available. Wrote them four times and have never received an answer to my question.
Also spoke with customer service and the person or persons were rude, they never give a name, just customer service. Never do business with this business!!!!
