This company has told me so many lies. First I was told I had one year free interest, after 6 months they added $900 to my acct for interest and $120 every month after. My min payment is 119.00/month and I always pay $400-$500 monthly and my payment seems to never decrease.i have called several times and all I get is a bunch of rude, lying representatives.

Bad quality
You people must be some of the worst in the world. I had an emergency medical situation and got care credit and was never told I would have to pay an insane interest rate after 18 months in which my payment just about doubled. I called and begged and pleaded to get...

i was screwed over by Care Credit too!! I was referred to them by my Dental Office.... to help me pay off my dept with NO interest. They wanted me to pay $100/month so I set up automatic payment plan. They usually sent an email letting me know the $100 was due.......

Sounds to me like you probably checked the box stating you wanted to receive your bills electronically. Quite often when you pay through autopay you are also agreeing to electronic billing. If people would read everything before just clicking you wouldn't have this trouble

I noticed a sudden increase on my Care Credit bill total this month and was wondering what was going on, then I see the deferred interest charge has been added to my account. I look at the top of my bills when paying by the due date and nowhere did it say that the...

The GE Capital associate was actually able to help me resolve my problem and waived the deferred fee so I made sure to pay off the remaining balance. I still wish they would have sent a letter or made a phone call to inform me about the expiration date as it could have solved a lot of the headaches and worrying that resulted from this. Still I am happy that this issue got resolved.

CareCredit review in Los Angeles, California: Care Credit, this is Fraud!

I went to the dentist last year and got approved for a Care Credit 2 year interest free loan for my dental services. I have been making payments on time and so far it has only been a year, so I am making conservative payments with a giant lump sum in the near future to pay off the loan. Well I logged on to my account today and saw my new balance and nearly fell off my seat. I thought my account got hijacked and went into panic mode, but realized by looking at the transaction summary that GE, without informing me of ANYTHING, added 1500 dollars in interest to my balance! This is a scam, a fraud, and I will spread this everywhere if it is not corrected. DO NOT deal with Care Credit if this is how they deal with their loyal consumers.

I must say that care credit contacted me and resolved the situation in a friendly and satisfying manner. Also, they did not ask me to say this. I appreciate their cooperation.

They definitely prey on desperate individuals. My bill went up astronomically at the end of the first year.

I am disgusted the a dental office would even offer such an absurd solution to removing a tooth while my jawbone is swollen and in serious pain! I have paid way more for my bill than the original work. The company sickens me. My wife passed away shortly after my dental visit and I have hospital bills from that to deal with also.

I only make 200 a month on average and am struggling to make more. There should be a law against dental offices pushing care credit on unfortunate patients. To make the situation worse; care credit is set up so that you cannot contact someone who is American or has any power to do anything but collect your money let alone understand English well enough to be dealing with such matters. There are people assembling a class action lawsuit and I hope to get inboard with that.

I am going to make a Facebook page regarding it and I should be able to get that to spread very fast since I know so many influential people. Channel 6 news is also interested in doing a story if they can get more local people willing to go public with their dilemma. I am furious with paying off care credit for three years for a fifteen minute job.

I was in the beginning stages of systematic poisoning when they threw this option onto my lap at the dentists office. I will not pay another cent.

Hopefully you still have the papers you signed. I would make a complaint through the BBB and your local Chamber of Commerce.

I used Care Credit once, because the dentist said it would be ok. I am covered 100%, and he was trying to cover his own butt. It all worked out, but could of been a pain.

I only had 6 months of no interested. I think the Doctors get a kick back....

CareCredit review in Los Angeles, California: Refused my payoff and added 700 interest to account

I was told that this was interest free for my dental work. When I attempted to pay it off, I was told that they don't allow the balance to be transferred to another credit card??????? I then told them I would give them my ATM number and I was told they don't accept that???? I then asked for the pay off amount, and was told that I would have to pay an additional 700 in interest, and when I mailed the check, there would still be daily charges until they applied it to the account. I would then be billed again. I told them to close the account, and they refused. I was repeatedly hung up on on the only number available because I demanded to talk to a supervisor. I have sent registered mail with no response. I am looking for an attorney to file a lawsuit, which after looking at this web site should be a class action lawsuit. I have made all payments on time, and am now getting a copy of my credit report to see if this company has reported any incorrect information. The public should beware of this company!!!!

I just got off the phone with GE Care Credit. DON't use these theives.

I had paid my account on time more than the minimum payment. I called in August to ask on what date I had to pay the balance to avoid their userious interest rates. The lady on the phone said October. I didn't look at the statement online because it was on autopay.

I was getting ready to pay the balance on it which was started for payment on October and signed up for the account Sept 9 of the previous year. Then I found that the jerks charged me for the entire other years interest on the previous year because I missed the payment by one month...I missed the terms of the promotional time according to them but according to the records they said I had until October's payment. SO now I am screwed out of 2300 bucks for one month because they are miserable theives who lied to me about the date I was supposed to pay. SO I am going to be their worst night mare.

I am making consumer complaints I am writing to my congressman, senator, I am making a complaint to the Federal Consumer Protection Bureau, I am going to picket them, I am going to make the rue the day they ripped me off. I am mad as *** and I am not going to take it anymore.

You do everything right and they still try to rip you off!! Do yourself a favor,....NEVER USE CREDIT FROM GE.

CareCredit review in Los Angeles, California: Care Credit - Insane APR & I have great credit?

Wow, I really wish I had read the user reviews for his company sooner. When I applied they gave me a really low APR and without missing a payment or ever being late and paying way above the amount due, they raised my APR to 24.00% without notice!! When I called the customer service dept they said that was actually a low APR, their current APR was @ 26% and the reason they could have such a high APR is because they were a privately owned company...DO NOT APPLY FOR GEMONEY/CARE CREDIT! So NOT worth it! Have your payment goes to just Interest!

Good deal my ***. I used care credit to pay a vet bill.

The "promotion" that I didn't know I was on (I guess because I didn't search for any fine print) expired. They charged me 30% of my original balance (the original charge was $2000, so a $600 charge), plus the APR is not 30%.

You don't pay interest if you make all your monthly payments in time. This 26% APR only applies if you miss payments. So if you are disciplined this is actually a pretty good deal (no interest for up to 18 months)...
